Is there really no cost to join?
Yes — listing your space in our Community Directory is completely free. Studio Partners also pay no fees; our partnership is built on mutual value, not transactions.
What types of spaces can apply?
Any space that hosts shibari or rope bondage education — dedicated studios, rented venues, community spaces, and private practice spaces are all welcome to apply.
What if my application is denied?
We'll let you know why and what you can reapply for. Not meeting the vetting criteria for Studio Partnership doesn't prevent you from joining as a Community Listing.
Do I get a verification badge?

Most studios do not get a badge, only vetted Studio Partners receive a partner badge on their directory listing. The badge signals that a space is part of our partnership program, which you can find out more about here.

What's the difference between Community Listings & Studio Partners?

Studio Partners are vetted spaces in an active partnership with us. They've been reviewed, share our values around consent, education, and safety, and are committed to bridging online learning with in-person practice. Partners have an ongoing relationship with our team.

Community Listings are self-submitted spaces shared by the broader community. They have not gone through our partner vetting process and do not have a formal relationship with us. These listings help expand visibility and choice, but we encourage you to do your own vetting before attending.
