More about Birdhaus Studio

Birdhaus is Toronto's alt studio and event venue, tucked into a 100-year-old historic space just off Queen St West in Toronto. We've been building community since 2021 under the co-direction of veteran producers and performers Miranda and Tifereth, whose backgrounds span large-scale fetish events to intimate workshop weekends.

Our shibari program is designed to give students the best possible exposure to a range of styles and teaching methodologies. We prioritize learning toward play, components-based progression, and the understanding that every path in rope is valid.

Beyond classes, Birdhaus hosts jams, workshops, intensives, and parties featuring performances by local and global artists, all with a full cocktail program in one of Toronto's most storied alt community spaces.
