More about Clwb Nawa

Clwb Nawa is a peer-led kinbaku community based in Cardiff, Wales, for people who want to develop their rope practice in a supportive, respectful and collaborative environment.

Our regular sessions focus on peer learning rather than formal teaching, giving practitioners the chance to exchange ideas, refine technique and learn from one another.

Newer practitioners can join our Fundamentals sessions, which provide a structured introduction to essential skills before moving into wider practice evenings.

Unlike larger rope jams, our sessions are intentionally small, creating space for focused practice, conversation and genuine connection.

We balance technical development with creativity, presence and sensuality at each participant’s own pace.

Hosted at The Nest, our evenings take place in a stylish private rope space with a dedicated play area and comfortable social space, making it easy to relax, connect and enjoy rope together.
