Coil & Cord Studio is a queer-owned rope studio in Brooklyn, New York, facilitated by Parker & Juniper. Located in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn, Coil & Cord is on the F, G, & R trains (4th Ave/9th St. station), and has ample free street parking.

Rope workshops with experienced instructors include the monthly Beginner Rope Intensive, intermediate classes on specific tying patterns and styles, suspension workshops, monthly AirFlow workshop on suspension transition sequences (different every month!), self-tying/self-suspension classes, and more! Mondays have weekly Open Rope Practice. Monthly rope jams and Rope Speed Scening (like speed dating, but rope!) offer social tying opportunities. Queer Rope Social and T4T Rope Night each offer exclusively queer or trans rope jam spaces. Private instruction is available by appointment.

Additionally, Coil & Cord hosts visual art exhibitions, performances, art/craft workshops, craft markets, movie nights, & other community events.

    Parker RopeBoi (they/them) has been self-tying and tying others for nearly 20 years, internationally known for rope workshops, performances, and techniques. They have taught and performed at conventions, galleries, theaters, and nightlife venues across North America and Europe, including Tethered Together, RopeCraft, Exist, Anatomie Studio, Folsom Street Fair, Winter Fire, NARIX, and many others. Parker is the co-founder of Coil & Cord Studio in Brooklyn, NY.

    Juniper Quinn (they/she) is a bottom-leaning rope switch with 6+ years of rope bondage experience and a founder of Coil & Cord Studio in Brooklyn. With partner Parker, they've taught at Lesbian Sex Mafia, Dark Odyssey Fusion, Tethered Together, The Library, and frequently at WOW Cafe Theater and Coil & Cord. They've performed at Twisted Windows and Folsom Street Fair (SF), Boujee Cabaret, Elevate at Gallery 508, Elevation & Elation at WOW Cafe Theater, and Bloody St. Valentine at Purgatory (NYC)
