Estudio Nudo
Estudio Nudo is an independent studio based in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, founded in 2024 by Fiera as the home of Knotcase Project, after six years of dedicated rope practice. Created as a space for education, experimentation, and community building, the studio hosts public workshops, private lessons and sessions, performances, rope jams, and collaborations with local, national, and international educators and practitioners.
More than a training space, Estudio Nudo serves as a platform where local practitioners can learn, collaborate, play, and develop professional opportunities within the rope community. The studio is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where people of all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels are welcome.
Part of its mission is to strengthen the rope community in southeastern Mexico, bringing internationally recognized educational opportunities to the region and encouraging cultural exchange between local and international practitioners.

Im Fiera, a Mexican Visual Designer who began studying shibari in 2018. I’m the founder of Knotcase Project, where I am a rigger, educator, facilitator, and event organizer. In 2024, I established Estudio Nudo, a professional shibari studio in Mérida, Mexico. I intentionally study a wide variety of rope styles and teaching methodologies. My education comes from in-person mentorship, intensive workshops, private instrution and collaborations with practitiones from all over the world.
