More about Get Roped In

Get Roped In is a rope bondage project founded by Merinth0 and Leo to create safe, inclusive spaces for teaching, labbing and skill sharing. From first-time rope experiences to suspension and everything in between, we welcome beginners and experienced rope enthusiasts alike.

Based in Cambridgeshire, we run monthly themed classes offering hands-on teaching and practice time, alongside special one-off workshops. Founded in 2024, Get Roped In has grown into a thriving local community and now also offers an online store selling lovingly dyed and treated natural-fibre ropes alongside their events.

Whether you want to learn, practise, connect or find quality rope supplies, Get Roped In offers a welcoming space to explore the world of rope.

Hi, I’m Merinth0 (Merin), a passionate rigger and rope enthusiast. I love exploring everything from simple restraints to complex artistic rigs, experimenting with ties, shapes and patterns. I co-founded Get Roped In with Leo to make rope accessible through safe, friendly teaching, helping people build the skills and confidence to explore rope bondage.

Hi, I’m Leo. I discovered shibari in 2021 through Merin and quickly fell in love with being restrained, whether it’s pretty, practical or simply being tied up. As a male shibari model, I’m happy to help represent and grow that side of the community. Get Roped In is our way of bringing people together through our shared love of rope.
