More about InTension Shibari
We are a beginner friendly connective rope studio in Sherwood Park Alberta. We offer courses and classes for couples who are looking to deepen their romantic connection through Shibari.
As a married couple with almost a decade worth of tying experience together, we opened our studio to provide a space where connective and passionate rope can thrive.
We are focused on the energetic exchange and nonverbal communication between rope partners, and are dedicated to inspiring couples to fall in love with this beautiful art form.
We teach primarily floor work and Ichinawa, combined with conscious relationship practices. We keep our class sizes small to provide you enough space to create a "nest" where you and your partner can tie comfortably.
To us, rope is not simply a technique - it's a relational practice.
We aim to create a space where intention meets vulnerability. Together, we explore rope as a living language - one that communicates power, surrender, care, curiosity, and trust.
