PlayNights

Every Friday, our drop-in PlayNights welcome both local practitioners and visitors to Aarhus.

They're a relaxed way to practice, play, meet fellow rope enthusiasts, and experience the Nexus community — whether you're staying for an evening or looking for a regular place to tie.

Our approach

Our teaching is inspired by Japanese kinbaku traditions, with an emphasis on strong technical foundations, communication, safety, and the connection between partners.

Small class sizes allow for individual feedback and steady progress.

    Sorisk places great importance on collaboration and the experience of both partners. She encourages them to draw on their own experiences and contribute actively to the interaction created through the rope. She enjoys helping models better understand themselves, their partner, and what happens between them in rope. Her teaching is thoughtful, calm, and precise, encouraging curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to learn.

    Caskonti approaches rope with an analytical eye for both technique and aesthetics. He enjoys exploring the deeper principles behind a tie — not only how it is done, but why it works and how each element can be refined. His teaching focuses on precision, technical understanding, and helping students make more conscious choices in their rope.

    FoxyLock is an experienced rigger, model, and teacher who creates a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Her strength lies in giving precise feedback, spotting small adjustments that make a big difference, and helping students learn to read their partner. She brings a broad technical perspective and focuses on connection, understanding, and developing each student's own approach to rope.

    LucardDK brings a thoughtful and sensual approach to rope, where technique meets feeling, polarity, and connection. With a background in martial arts, he has a strong understanding of the body and body handling, which informs his approach to movement and control in rope. His teaching is calm and reflective, balancing the sensual, aesthetic, and functional aspects of kinbaku.
