More about Knot Coven Studio
KnotCoven is a shibari studio in the center of Belgrade.
We keep it safe: we personally get to know every person who comes. You can join solo or with a partner — whether you’re just starting out or looking to develop your current level.
All workshops are led by Vlada Vedmovskaya, who has over 20 years of active experience in shibari. We run social events, rope jams, performances, courses and seminars, invite international teachers, and also work individually — both in lessons and sessions. We’re open to photo projects.
Our main project is the Balkan Bound festival, which takes place twice a year.

For more than two decades she has been performing worldwide and sharing her knowledge. Co-organizer and teacher at KnotCoven studio in Belgrade, she previously created the Moscow Knot and Moscow Bound festivals and is the founder of Balkan Bound. Milica
(she/her)Model, assistant, host
My journey into shibari began a few years ago, when my partner Vlada introduced me to it. I was instantly enchanted by its range: from artistic expression and aesthetic beauty to the depth of connection it makes possible between people. These days, I’m the host and the caretaker of the KnotCoven space — welcoming people into our little world and making them feel at home, assisting Vlada with her many rope-related adventures, and helping bring beautiful ideas to life through creative projects.
