In ropes, we value connection between partners and creativity. Technique is a tool we use more than a main goal, but it's crucial to practice safely. We have a large offer of classes, from beginner to advanced, solo or duo, floor or suspension. Alongside, we offer jams, performances, live drawing and masterclasses.

Chloé

Chloé is a performer and movement instructor. They doesn't teach shibari but has been managing l'Alternée and Brussels Art Pole (the two projects are roomates) for 4 years, alongside with Angèle and Domi. If you send an email to the studio, they're the person you'll be in touch with !
Juliette
(she/her)Teacher and Educational coordinator
Juliette discovered shibari in 2016, driven by a need to translate the emotions of being tied. Influenced by aikido and contact improvisation, she places the body at the center of her approach. Her organic, ever-evolving style is rooted in improvisation, structured chaos, and an inquiry into what unfolds between two people through intimacy, body, and ropes. She has taught in Brussels since 2022, favoring understanding, inclusivity, and adaptability over the repetition of fixed forms.
