Mukade Kinbaku Dojo is a Mexico-based space for the study of Japanese rope art, focused on safety, consent, technique, and connection. It is led by Roqueved Zagal, a Mexican Kinbakushi and artist with 17 years of experience in Kinbaku, teaching and creating through rope.

Through education, events, and artistic projects, I help create spaces where people can discover rope with respect, curiosity, and purpose.
Roqueved Zagal
(he/him)Kinbakushi / Founder
Mexican Kinbakushi, photographer, and founder of Mukade Kinbaku Dojo. For over 17 years, Roqueved has explored Kinbaku as an artistic and emotional language, combining traditional Japanese rope techniques with photography, performance, and education. His work emphasizes safety, consent, technical excellence, and meaningful human connection through rope.

Marketing & Public Relations Director at Mukade Kinbaku Dojo. I lead the dojo’s marketing strategy, public relations, and brand positioning to strengthen its presence locally and internationally. I develop strategic partnerships, manage relationships with national and international media, oversee cultural and educational initiatives, and connect artists, practitioners, and audiences to promote the art and culture of Kinbaku.
