Mosaic Cat (Maomao) began her Shibari journey in Taiwan in 2017. She immersing herself in both classical Japanese traditions and contemporary European techniques under Maya, Soa, and Kobayashi Nawagiri. Her practice combines both classical Japanese-inspired kinbaku and contemporary European rope approaches.

Based in Shanghai, China, 41 balances their time between working at an NGO by day and a public community bar by night. Constant engagement with these spaces fuels their focus on public issues, which directly shapes their expression in both art and rope bondage.
