More about Shibari ARTlanta
Tucked in on the creative edge of Atlanta, Shibari ARTlanta is a home for the whole city's rope community. Whatever crew, collective, or corner of the scene you come from, there is a place for you on our floor.
We host weekly Shibari 101 drop-ins for newcomers, a 102 and 103 progression for building real skill, and focused workshops on ties, harnesses, and suspension. Tuesday Rope Labs and monthly skill shares keep the space open for unstructured practice, teaching, and meeting people from across Atlanta's many rope circles.
The studio itself is a 700 square foot, purpose-built Zen inspired space: warm wood, soft light, padded floors, and load-tested hard points for suspension. Groups and individuals alike are welcome to gather, jam, and share knowledge here.
Consent-forward, body-positive, and open to every experience level and identity. However you found rope, you belong here. Come tie with us!
The team

Knot Posh
(he/him)Founder
From the jungles of Mexico to the rap scene in Atlanta, I've had the pleasure of tying and teaching all over! I get the most joy out of teaching new skills or offering a new way to approach an old one. I'm a rope nerd, and a little bit creative. I teach everything from the very basics to advanced suspension transitions.

Mr Mercredi
(he/him)Teacher & Facilitator
I’m the organizer behind Trans Jam ATL. I am a hedonist, a sadist, and bondage enthusiast from Atlanta, Georgia. I bring over a decade of BDSM experience to the conversation. My facilitating strengths lie in building and drilling the basic toolkit of tying components as well as bottom centered labtime. I like to address learning from both a bottom and top perspective and prefer to meet people where they are at in their personal growth and work on building their skills from there.

Rabbit
(they/them)Teacher & Facilitator
I teach Shibari with a focus on self-connection, emotional presence, and intentional movement. My studies have included a wide range of Shibari intensives and Kinbaku styles, which inform both my technique and my values in rope. As an educator, I strive to create a consent-based and queer-inclusive learning environment where all bodies, identities, and experiences are welcomed and respected.
