SHIBARI PERTH
Whether you're taking your very first steps or you're an experienced rigger looking to refine your skills, Shibari Perth offers a full-time, dedicated space designed to inspire, educate, & connect the growing Perth rope community.
Our purpose-built rope dojo has been created specifically for Shibari, providing a professional, safe, welcoming environment where people can learn, practise, and share their passion for rope.
Join us twice a week for beginner and intermediate classes, guided practice sessions and rope jams. We also host specialty workshops and exclusive events featuring respected interstate and international instructors.
Private lessons are also available, tailored to your individual goals.
We additionally host Kinoko's Ichinawa classes run by Perth's only fully certified instructor.
We are more than just a Shibari studio, we are a thriving community where friendships are built, confidence grows, and creativity flourishes.

Shibari Perth was created to give Perth's rope community a permanent home. After years of running The Kink College, finding reliable venues became a constant challenge, so I built one. My rope journey flourished in 2010, taking me across Australia and Japan to learn from respected instructors. Today, I share safe, structured and welcoming Shibari education while remembering my roots, the lessons I have learned and the values that guide my rope journey.
Accessibility
Shibari Perth isa welcoming space that is run with ethics & safety in mind. We are fully council approved & the entire suspension structure has been certified. We offer "quiet nights" for those that don't like louder groups & are happy to open any day of the week to cater for Perth's traveling workers. We also host the other side & can mix it all up for kinky rope nights so people can really let their hair down - just ask!
