More about The Boring Dojo

Based in Brussels, Belgium, "The Boring Dojo" is a dedicated practice space centered on the work of A-Nicolas. Rooted in essentialism, movement (dance), and organic bondage, we offer a curated program of events—including open jams, workshops ranging from beginner to advanced levels (covering dance in ropes, performance, and body manipulation), and invited presentations by international practitioners who expand our collective practice.

Deeply grounded in Japanese kinbaku tradition and artistry, both the dojo and A-Nicolas' work serve as applied research within European cultural contexts. All forms of practice are welcomed here; diversity is not only encouraged but valued. The teaching style and methodology offered by A-Nicolas are intentionally directional and purpose-driven.
