More about Timeout by Art of of Hojojutsu
TimeOut by Art of Hojojutsu is a protected space in Aarau for Shibari, connection, learning and conscious pauses. Rope art, photography, meditation, bodywork, tea and conversation come together here without competing for attention.
The focus is always on the individual, with their own pace, questions and story. TimeOut offers space for coaching, workshops, rope jams, photo sessions and small gatherings where exchange and personal growth can unfold.
Respect, trust, mindfulness and safety form the foundation. The space invites you to step away from the noise of everyday life for a few hours, arrive fully and allow something genuine to emerge. There is nothing to prove and no role to perform. You may learn, explore, become quiet, laugh or simply share a cup of tea.
A TimeOut from everyday life. Perhaps even a small sense of coming home.
The team

Stjepan
(he/him)Founder, Teacher
I am Stjepan Palescak, photographer, rope artist and coach behind Art of Hojojutsu. Rope has been part of my path since 2012. Shaped by martial arts, my time at a Shaolin temple and my training as a medical massage therapist, I combine Shibari with body awareness, safety and expression. For me, rope is never just technique. It is communication, guidance and a quiet dialogue between two people.
