Conveniently located in a railway arch in vibrant Peckham, London, we offer a modern and practical approach to shibari, with an emphasis on partnership and connection. We run regular educational and practice sessions every week, including a weekly beginner evening for the new and curious. The sessions are informal, relaxed, and social. You’ll need to book a ticket and can join solo or with a friend. We also offer classes & courses for all levels, a shibari lie drawing, social mixers, international guest teachers and of course private lessons.
The Team

Anna Bones
(she/her)Founder
Anna Bones fell in love with shibari in 2013 and co-founded Anatomie Studio in 2015. She has taught and performed worldwide but loves welcoming beginners to her home studio. Passionate about all aspects of rope—self-tying, bottoming, and rigging—she sees it as a tool for self-discovery, trust, and intimacy. She describes herself as a bottom who ties and a shy rigger. Her passion is teaching beginners and setting them off on a path to self-discovery. Anatomie is her pride and joy.

Fred Hatt
(he/him)Founder
Fred Hatt is a co-founder of Anatomie Studio and an experienced shibari educator for close to a decade. He regularly teaches in London and abroad focusing on both the “how” and “why” of rope. Known for his technical approach, he pays close attention to the small details that make a tie work. His style leans towards transitions and predicaments, and while naturally introverted, he is a thoughtful and dedicated teacher invested in making information accessible and practical.
