Thanks so much for your question! We would recommend trying what you think might work best for you and labbing with the tie to see how it fits. Theoretically, adding padding will help support the line placements, but tighter tension may also help with this as well. We hope that you are able to find a fit that works best for you!

Thanks for your comment! There's nothing specific you need to avoid on the elbows, unless your partner communicates something specific. As a general rule of thumb, staying a couple inches above the elbows is a better position for reducing risk of nerve compression or damage.🙏
