Thank you for your comment. This is true and absolutely something people should be mindful of. 🙏 Something that also helps is when releasing the arms, the rigger pushes back on the arms as the bottom is releasing to add a bit of tension on the release. Hope this helps!

Hi there! This can be tied for self suspension but will require the ability to reach behind the back. Additionally, it's always good to have someone look at the back of a tie like this when self tying to ensure frictions and lock offs are done right. Thank you so much for the suggestion also - we will definitely be working on more tutorials for self suspension🙏

Hi Cait! Thanks for your question :) They aren't necessarily interchangeable as some frictions/hitches have specific purposes. Additionally, you are able to close off a Munter hitch in the way you tie it but need to add additional hitches to a half hitch in order to lock it. The frictions will also work differently as in locking off one side of a wrap vs. locking it all off. Hope this helps❤️

Thank you for your comment! Being mindful of the placement wraps on the arms will reduce risks of radial nerve damage. Sometimes this means the wraps will be touching or super far apart. We recommend beginning with a partial suspension so you can come down quickly if needed.🙏
