Thank you for watching :)

Thanks for your concern. As you watch more videos on the site, you'll often see models "settling in" to the rope. It's a normal and enjoyable part of the bottoming experience to let the bondage facilitate some stillness and quietness, both internally and externally.

It's also not the only way to bottom. As you keep watching, you'll also see bottoms laughing, processing pain, being bratty, and having a whole other range of reactions to being tied. We promise that all of our models are consenting to what's happening in the videos and aren't ever encouraged to "act" or portray anything other than their genuine reactions to the rope.

Good question! Rope placed directly on the groin can definitely be a source of discomfort. Many bottoms will prefer the rope placed just below the groin where the tendon isn’t so exposed. You just need to be mindful to not try to place the rope too low, as it will slip up in suspension. Gorgone talks about placement a bit in their hip loader video if you’d like a visual demonstration. Hip Loader Tutorial | Shibari Study

Certainly this position will be more/less comfortable for different bottoms with different levels of mobility, but no, it’s not a requirement that your bottom be able to hyperextend their elbows. Make sure that they can drop their head far enough that the arms can be moved behind the head. Then move slowly in the beginning when applying pressure to the arms to make sure that the range of motion is safe and comfortable enough.

Thanks for your question! This harness is intended for floor work only and shouldn’t be used with any suspension lines.

Thanks for your comment! We do have a tutorial on creating hashira suspension points that you can find here: Intro To Hashira Tutorial | Shibari Study

For many rope bottoms, upper cinches are a cause of nerve compression. Additionally, for lots of different types of bodies, it’s relatively easy to tie the top wrap tight enough that it won’t slip around, even without cinches. For these reasons, lots of riggers default to leaving the upper cinches out.

Always, best practice is to first ask your bottom if they have a preference about upper cinches and lab both options if they don’t.

Thanks for your question! We chatted with our instructor here and they said that they haven’t noticed any problems with wear associated with tying POSH onto the jute rope that they use for their harnesses!

Thank you so much for your feedback. We'll take note of it for future tutorials.Â
