Hi! Great question! The simple answer to this is that it’s a problem for the nerves only if it’s a problem for the nerves. Here since the strappado wraps are holding the arms in place but not loaded, there shouldn’t be so much tension on them, and the little tension added by the upline likely won’t cause a problem. Of course, every body is different and this is why it’s important to practice suspensions with bottoms who also feel ready to explore at this level and communicate to you if they notice anything that feels like a problem.Â
