Hi! Great question! The simple answer to this is that it’s a problem for the nerves only if it’s a problem for the nerves. Here since the strappado wraps are holding the arms in place but not loaded, there shouldn’t be so much tension on them, and the little tension added by the upline likely won’t cause a problem. Of course, every body is different and this is why it’s important to practice suspensions with bottoms who also feel ready to explore at this level and communicate to you if they notice anything that feels like a problem.

We’re sorry to hear that and thank you for the feedback! We’re working hard this year to improve the production quality of our lives, including getting more mics to our intstructors. I’ve made a note of your feedback!

You could build them either way! As Gorgone does it here both wraps end up in one big friction. If you build the top wrap fully before the bottom wrap you’ll need to decide if you want to lock them together or lock them independently!

Yes, this version with “added deco” specifically is suitable for partial suspensions!

Definitely. That makes sense. You could try this on yourself starting at your ankle and going high up towards your knee. And then continue to follow along by laying another piece of rope on your leg between your ankle cuff and top pass as Gorgone does lower on the arm.

You could definitely explore that combo!

Bonjour! J'espère que cela a du sens. J'utilise un outil de traduction. Sans voir votre harnais, il est difficile de faire une suggestion précise, mais ma première pensée est de vérifier qu'il y a suffisamment de tension entre ces frottements et la corde de taille !

There are lots of little changes you can make. Consider this an upper-level challenge to tackle after you’ve learned a number of suspendable harnesses. You’ll want to create frictions in the back that isolate your tensions within wraps. You might consider leaving the crotch rope out if you’re using this for suspension as well. As Tam mentions, there are lots of frictions in sensitive spots in this harness, so proceed with caution and communicate with your bottom a lot! If you want more specific advice, you might give it a try and then ask our Discord community for feedback!Â
