Rope Journal - Week 3
Januarys theme - Reflection & Intention
How do you like to prepare a space for rope (music, lighting, mindset)?
I really loved this prompt as music features so heavily in my planning of rope scenes, but having watched some really powerful scenes conducted in complete silence, just the creak of rope, the sound of breath and gentle (and sometimes not to gentle) whimpers and moans from a bottom.
Ill be adding my full response to this in a comment, and as always I look forward to hearing your guys thoughts and opinions on this one too.
what's up y'all im 30 m and straight im from San Antonio tx and im new to this life style. looking for like minded people to show me the ropes lol
I have to draw out ties, as well as practice them on my dojo-doll, to really grok them. This is the Lexi front facing tir.
(Confession: feeling quite nervous sharing this fragment. Fairly new to recording my ropes and observing myself. So my inner critic is tap dancing on my thoughts 🫣)
Playing freely with shibari basics, exploring possible exercises for our very first class together.
Felt like a fun twist on the Lark's Head.

Hi friends,
MoBights (Community Manager) I don’t know if there is a better place to post this, but is there anyone I can talk to privately about a possible scholarship for Shibari Study?
Thank you 🥲
Rope Journal - Week 2
January's Theme - Reflection & Intention
"What was your first impression of rope bondage before you tried or learned about it?"
This is always such an interesting question, it opens up the variety of ways in which we discover rope, how we are initially exposed to it and what sparked the intrigue that got us onto this journey.
As always love to hear your thoughts and opinions in the comments. If you are handwriting your journals in a book, feel free to just drop a photo of your response this week 🙂
Excited to share some Improv tie at a local rope jam. The irony is nailing a really aesthetically pleasing Butterfly TK, only to place Spider Monkey on her front. 🤷🏻
