Helloo - I’m Michelle and I’ve been part of the Shibari Study team since January (so almost a year now!). I’m the one thinking about how to get the wider world (especially folks who don’t yet know what shibari is) curious about this practice.

When I started at the beginning of the year, I was new to shibari, though not exactly new to niche, sexy, kinky audiences (I used to work for Erika Lust in the past). Since then a lot’s happened: I’ve been tied a few times, went to EURIX this summer and recently started exploring self-tying with our beginner videos.

So... a new shibari enthusiast and enthusiastic lurker in the corner of community. 🦕
