I love this class, a deeper dive into the knots and directionality was exactly what I was missing. So well structured.

Combined with the SCT drill it’s just perfect.

Thanks! I also love the idea of finger hooking using different fingers, haven't thought about that one but will definitely be doing it from now on. I also started to be a bit more gentle with how I pull the rope against my hand, learning how much pressure to apply to maintain tension while minimizing the friction on myself at least a little bit.

I'm using 5mm and 6mm jute rope (made for shibari, not just from a hardware store).

Since I got shibari study I've been practicing every day for many hours, and now a few days later I'm noticing my fingers are starting to feel a bit raw from the rope. Nothing visible, but I can feel the skin being quite a bit more sensitive than it usually is.

Now of course I understand this is probably normal and expected, but I wonder if there's any tips or things you guys would suggest, other than just taking a break and letting the skin regenerate a bit. Or even if you've had similar experiences.
