More about Shibari Café

Shibari Café (run by CorruptMindProductions) offers rope education and community experiences for all skill levels, from beginner-friendly introductions to advanced practice. We host a monthly open lab for practice, questions, exploration, and community connection. Open lab is free for anyone who attended a paid class that month. In addition to regular classes, we offer weekend-long intensives with visiting instructors, special workshops, and performances highlighting shibari as both a technical practice and a living art form. Shibari Café is home to Shibari Troupe, our performance collective exploring rope through storytelling, movement, and theatrical presentation. We also host Sapphic Rope, centered on sapphic connection, intimacy, creativity, and community, offering an affirming, playful, and welcoming space for sapphic-centered dynamics. Through education, practice, and performance, Shibari Café creates a space where rope can be studied, shared, witnessed, and experienced as art.
