Hi everyone! I’m fuoco! I’ve been doing rope since 2012, starting out as a bottom but quickly falling victim to the bottom->switch->mostly-only-tying pipeline. I found circus arts right at the same time that I found rope and made that into my full time career for a number of years before joining the Shibari Study team. Pretty committed to keeping my feet firmly off the ground!

I joined Shibari Study as the Director of Education in 2023. I think a lot about how to teach rope in this digital medium, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on classes that currently exist on this platform and ones you want to see next! Feel free to drop me a DM with questions, feedback, funny stories, etc. I’ll be here updating you about new classes we’re dropping, live instructors we’re booking, and new products we’re launching to improve your learning experience <3

  • Hi Everyone and Welcome to the brand New Shibari Study Community,

This community space is designed with you in mind, a space for you to seek advice, share your photos and stories, keep up to date with Shibari Study News and get to know your fellow Shibari Study students. The team will also be joining you on the community so don't forget to give their profiles a follow (and any of your friends you already know on here)

If its your first time checking out the community, please familiarise yourself with the Community Guidelines and introduce yourself in the General Chat Channel. We want to remind you that your "Display Name" on your Shibari Study profile is how you will be seen on the community, so if you need to update it to your scene/preferred name, head over to your profile before your first community post.

If you have any questions or feedback please let us know, or DM our Community Manager Mo. We look forward to being able to connect with our community more, set some fun challenges (dont forget for our Student of the Month challenge, you could win a free Quarterly Subscription) to help you develop your rope practice.

    Thanks

    Shibari Study Team
