Helluw everyone!

I realized I haven’t introduced myself yet! My name, Anthoni (25, he/him), and I am a gay rope cub/boy from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 ! I discovered shibari about 2,5 years ago during Darklands, where I got tied up for the first time and realized it “clicked” for me.

However, after I came back to the Netherlands, I realized sadly that when it came to tying at events/ kink socials/ rope in general, finding a gay rigger who was into / open to tying plus size/ bigger men was practically untraceable. The body standard was still either thin and aerial ✈️ or looking like you could be model for a fetish shoot.

I was so tired of standing on the side and getting rejected, I said “if I can’t rely on men I’ll do it myself 💅🏼” I decided to learn how to tie under Hua Hua ( who lived in Amsterdam at the time), so I could eventually teach more people that tying inclusive is not rocket science, and can mean a lot to people even if it’s not the most beautiful TK you’ve ever TK’d. eventually, I switched to Shibari study due to its availability of content of all levels and skills and its understanding community without having a partner. Been tying ever since and slowly started doing suspensions over th last year. I’ve also done some deeper studying by working with Gorgone, who could give in depth feedback. The amount of hours invested does not equal the amount of years of experience 😅😅

I occasionally get to bottom but for now I’m walking the path of the bearcub rigger in training , and it suits me well, tying with an open mind and learning new tricks everyday in my local studio, Salon expose Amsterdam.
