Cody Van Houten

MoBights (Community Manager) just bought the digital copy lol thank you I’m sure Fuoco doesn’t mind the plug one bit

Yeah I’ve heard a lot of people say this about the TK and I think that’s why I just hit head on from the start, I do feel like the shoulder placement is something I have really focused on and learning how to place them properly. Maybe I’ll have to post a video or find local help to tell me what

I’m doing incorrectly lol I know it has to be something so simple.

Also I only posted this to the *student of the month* because Fuocos post said to post it within that channel my apologies :) thank you for moving it.

lol I feel the struggle one day I have seen some lowered arm Tks but then they present different issues with just not looking right

Hi everyone my name is Cody (Yorokobi_Domu)

I have been tying on and off for the past few years but really focused over the past year trying to tie everyday.

Something that I have really had a continuous issue with is when tying any type of to my partners hands

Always seem to fall or shift in a way that becomes uncomfortable the arms will drop and cross eachother.

I’ve tried starting with the hands tighter, lose wrapping additional bands for support and I just can’t seem to get there arms to stay “comfortable” in a box tie

On some partners I have found it’s because of flexibility limitations but others that can hold the position themselves it still happens and cuts the play time short. The tk is probably one of my favorite ties in terms of Being aesthetically pleasing so it kills me when this happens and also makes me feel defeated.

I’ve tied this and to avoid that migration I added several munters / or a weaving pattern to stop that from happening.

As well as tying a two rope tk

Absolutely love this tie have had so much fun with it
